FOOD and CUISINE

The cuisine of South Africa  has a variety of multicultural sources and stages, is heavily meat-based and has spawned the distinctively South African social gathering known as a braai, or barbecue. 










Some of South African dishes are Bobotie ( meatloaf with raisins and with baked egg on top),










 Frikkadelle (meatballs), Sosaties (grilled marinated meat on a skewer), Tomato bredie (a lamb and tomato stew).
